Rates
 
Our quoted rates are subject to change without notice.  We strongly advise you to contact us for exact rates for your stay.
 
All our rates are charged per unit per night, not per person.
Minimum charges apply for less than 4 people
 
Festive Season                       R1600.00 per night
20 December to 5 January
 
High Season                           R1600.00 per night
1 November to 31 January
 
Low Season                             R1400.00 per night
1 February to 31 October
 
 
Festive Season
Please note that we have a minimum 5 night stay over the period 20th December - 5th January every year. This is purely to ensure that our staff, who of course do not ever get a Christmas holiday, get home reasonably early every day to their families. We ensure this by keeping room changes to a minimum.
 
 
2.  Method of Payment
 
We accept payment by:
  • EFT 
  • Bank Transfers
 
 
3.  Key and Breakage Deposit
 
An additional refundable Key and Breakage Deposit of R1000.00 is payable 2 days prior arrival or on arrival and will be refunded within 7 days of departure provided all is in order and all terms and conditions have been met.
 
4.  Payment and Cancellation Policy
 
By making your booking our agreement becomes a legal binding contract.  Due to live booking options via internet, reservations are only secured by proof of payment of the full amount. We cannot be held responsible for loss of booking due to delayed payment.
 
We will require credit card details and ID/Passport for all bookings at the time of booking, regardless of how deposits are paid.  No further funds will be deducted from your credit card unless one of our policies come into force.
 
As we are a small establishment, it is sometimes not possible to re-sell the accommodation at short notice.  Refunds are only applicable if we are able to re-sell the accommodation to another guest.
 
At our discretion a PRO-RATA refund will be made for any night which we are able to reallocate to a new guest.
 
We do recommend that you purchase travel insurance to protect you from unnecessary costs resulting from cancellations.
 
In the event of a cancellation we shall be entitled to retain the following percentage of the full cost of booking namely:
 
Cancellations made  0 - 14 days prior to arrival - 100% of payment
Cancellations made 15 - 30 days prior to arrival - 75% of payment
Cancellations made 31 - 60 days prior to arrival - 50% of payment
 
All cancellations must be made in writing (e-mail is acceptable).
Bookings are not cancelled until you receive a reply from us which confirms the cancellation.
 
 
 
5.  Check-In/Check-Out
 
Check-In:  14:00  
Check-Out:  10:00
 
Both check-in/check-out times must be arranged 1 day prior of arrival/departure to handover keys.

 

 

6.  Children
 
We're sorry to say that Heldersig Cottage is not suitable for children under the age of 16.
 
 
7.  Pets
 
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets of any kind.
 
 
8.  Smoking Policy
 
Heldersig Cottage is a non-smoking accommodation.  Smoking inside unit is not allowed under any circumstances.  Smoking is permitted outside the unit.
